Learning Language
This Toolbox has a bonus guide to language development for preschool children. We provide a brochure to outline the different stages of development, along with the activities that typically accompany each stage. This will be very helpful for parents looking to develop their own program at home.
Language Miniatures
This starter set of minis is a great way for children to learn about letter sounds the Montessori way. The collection of minis provides a balance of beautiful objects with economy objects to be affordable (compared to other sets that typically sell for $60+ by themselves). There are 52 minis with about 2 or more minis per letter. These are versatile items that can be used with a range of activities. Your child will love using these language minis!
Learning to Write
The sand tray is a basic part of any Montessori classroom. We provide the tray and sand for your child to practice writing letters with their finger before progressing to writing them on paper. Our Montessori writing paper is great to learn letters and the tripod grip pencil helps develop the grasp necessary for writing. Add 160 card movable alphabet (yes 160 2″ by 2″ cards!) and your child will be learning to write in no time! If then need to refine their motor skills, 25 sheets of our handwriting practice grid will do the trick!
Montessori Letter Work
We have included another Montessori Work book, by Bobby George. This is a fantastic economical replacement for the sandpaper letters. This book follows the Montessori approach, which groups letters by shape (or sound) rather than the traditional order. Your child can tactically learn each letter, then use our sand tray to trace the letter. There is also an example object for each letter. Another unique feature is that your child will learn letters by sound, rather than by name. We HIGHLY recommend any book in the Montessori Work collection.
BONUS
Our sign language poster will allow your child to learn how to sign each letter. It has American (ASL) on one side for the US and Canada and British (BSL) on the other, for the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

This toolbox is great! Thank you!
I’m so interested in learning more about Montessori!
Do you sell the lowercase wooden moveable alphabet? It’s so hard to find and many of the diy ones are all capital letters.
Hi! We do have the Movable Alphabet Cards Set, but we do not have a wooden moveable alphabet. Sorry!
